Presidio Hill School really cares about the individual student. Teachers, parents, and administrators work closely together to optimize the school experience for each and every child. Over the past three decades, I've witnessed amazing things happen as students receive this kind of focused attention. It's really wonderful.

Presidio Hill is undoubtedly a special place. I have the unique opportunity to work with students after school and it's a pretty magical mix of kids unwinding at the end of the day—excited to play with mixed-age groups and loving the enrichment opportunities that continue learning outside the classroom. I feel lucky to be surrounded by such brilliant kids and a fantastic After-School staff every day.

PHS is a place where personality shines! I love getting to know both the students and faculty as a teacher working in After-School. It is inspiring to enter a school, founded by poets almost a century ago, that continues to offer creative approaches to learning.

I enjoy the many aspects of working as an After-School teacher at PHS. It allows me to share my own passions in different and fun ways with children in the Neighborhood program. I have been able to teach them basketball and football, as well as art and math. The enthusiasm of the kids makes it rewarding for me to help them learn new things in exciting ways.

One enchanting attribute of Presidio Hill is the all-encompassing commitment of the teachers, families, staff, and students to the development of the love of learning. I have the privilege of interacting with lower school students and watching them successfully accomplish things from handball and musicanship to conflict resolution and critical thinking.
