The Presidio Hill School library is a comfortable space for students, parents, and teachers to find recreational reading materials and valuable resources for research. We have over 8,000 volumes including DVD’s, audio books, relevant reference, and age-appropriate periodicals. Our databases and catalog are available online for students to access as well.
We host an annual book fair, author visits and various other book-related events. Our goal is to excite and inspire readers by providing students with the best quality books and materials available.
Students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade visit the library once a week to participate in literacy-rich activities and choose “just right” books. Parents volunteer in a number of ways ranging from organizing library events to shelving books. All families are invited to participate in our birthday book program. Students in the middle school are able to use library resources to assist with projects and other research-related activities. Helpful links to resources around the Bay Area and beyond are provided on this library page to help students access information from other sources.
