NOT YOUR MOTHER'S BOOK CLUB
Attention Middle Schoolers:
Books, Inc. runs a book club just for you! Not Your Mother's Book Club regularly brings the very best authors for young adults to San Francisco, and their line-up for early 2007 looks terrific.
This Thursday, Jan. 4th, Meg Rosoff, author of one of my favorite young adult books, How I Live Now, is visitiing all the way from London to read from her latest book. If you haven't read How I Live Now, you're in for a treat of wonderful writing. This book won numerous awards, including the "biggest" award for young adult books, the Printz.
So, head down to Books, Inc. at Laurel Village this Thursday at 7 p.m.
Also coming up soon (at the Opera Plaza Books Inc.):
Thursday, Jan. 18th 6:30 p.m. Teen Writing Workshop with award-winning author, Ellen Klages
Friday, Feb. 2nd 7:00 p.m. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants author, Ann Brashares
