The Future of School Libraries
"Do School Libraries Need Books?" (Gasp!)
Join the discussion. The New York Times has been hosting a panel of experts and asking for readers' input on this issue. I find it so interesting. My sense is that no one really thinks books are obsolete, but everyone seems to agree, it's time to explore new models and ways of delivering what students want and need. Even if it's just a little bit scary, I think it's ultimately an exciting time.
