PHS Friday Letter

I am extremely excited that Brian will be our director. He brings a wonderful blend of vision, warmth, leadership, professional knowledge and experience, commitment to progressive education and to equity and justice, and a tremendous love of children. Brian is a skilled listener as well as a decisive leader. He is committed to progressive education and clearly gets us. I also believe he has already fallen in love with the school! The fresh perspective he brings will be rich and will aid in our ongoing development. I’m thrilled to be welcoming Brian and his family into Presidio Hill School and look forward to his vibrant and rewarding tenure.

Please join me and the Board of Trustees in welcoming Brian on Monday, February 13 from 5:30-7:00 pm. Brian’s brief presentation and a short question and answer session will be followed by a reception. Childcare will be available by advance reservation with Deborah at x130.

I’d like to offer my deep appreciation to the Director Search Committee for their thorough and tremendous work in bringing Brian to Presidio Hill School. The committee spent many, many hours reviewing resumes, attending meetings, conducting interviews, checking references and more.
